Taskify Tabs operates locally in your browser. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data, browsing history, or tasks on our servers. All data generated by the extension, such as your tasks, tab URLs, and categories, is stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage capabilities (such as chrome.storage.local).
The information stored locally is used solely to provide the functionality of the Taskify Tabs extension, such as displaying your saved tasks, managing your tabs, categorizing your workflows, and keeping track of your progress within the browser.
We do not share any of your data with third parties because we do not have access to it. Your data stays entirely on your local machine.
The extension requests specific permissions (like tabs, tabGroups, unlimitedStorage, etc.) solely to function properly—such as reading the title and URL of the tab you wish to save as a task, or grouping tabs together. This data is not sent anywhere outside your browser.
We value your trust in using our extension. Since all data is stored locally, the security of your data depends entirely on the security of your device and your web browser.
