The New York Jets are welcoming back Andrew Lee as their top lawyer after more than 15 years away from the National Football League franchise.

Lee is set to take over as the Jets’ chief legal officer on Oct. 14, the club confirmed. He’s leaving an of counsel role in Foley & Lardner’s Manhattan office to fill a legal chief position that’s been vacant since former general counsel Jill Kelley departed the Jets over the summer.
