WELLSBORO — A state trooper found guilty of vehicular homicide has asked the state Supreme Court to assume jurisdiction of his case, vacate the jury verdict and grant a new trial with a different judge.

Michael J. Brown 36, in a petition filed Thursday attacked Columbia County Senior Judge Thomas A. James Jr. for not vacating the verdict due to juror misconduct.
