Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution much of Tuesday in the area of Princeton and Wheatland avenues in Old Lycoming Township after a high-pressured 12-inch cast iron main ruptured about 7:30 a.m. Employees with the Williamsport Municipal Water Authority were on the scene making repairs. “We’ll be here much of the day (working on this),” one employee said. A part of Princeton Avenue will be closed to traffic.
