At about 2.24am on Thursday, April 24 officers on patrol from the Cobram Police Unit saw a gold Camry driving erratically on Station St, Cobram.

After intercepting the vehicle, the officers breathalysed the driver and determined that alcohol was present in his system.

The man was also unable to produce a licence.

He was then transferred to the Cobram Police Station for a further breath test, returning a blood alcohol content of 0.163.

The driver was charged with a number of offences including drink-driving, unlicensed driving, and driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

He was bailed to appear at Cobram Magistrates' Court on July 22.

The Toyota Camry was also impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1500 to the man.
