A 23-year-old Egyptian man died after drowning in a lake at the Oasi Valle Azzurra in Alberlungo, a frazione of Ostellato, in the province of Ferrara, Italy.
The victim worked as a kitchen assistant at a bar-restaurant with fishing lakes on the premises. He reportedly took a swim in one of the lakes after his shift, but failed to resurface.
Emergency services were called around 4 PM, and firefighters, paramedics, and Carabinieri arrived at the scene. Sadly, the young man could not be saved.

Da quanto si apprende, il giovane lavorava come aiuto cuoco nella struttura, un bar-ristorante con annessi laghetti per la pesca sportiva. Proprio in uno di questi il 23enne si sarebbe tuffato a fine turno per un bagno rinfrescante. Il gesto però si è trasformato in tragedia visto che il giovane non è riemerso dall'acqua. Poco prima delle 16 sono scattati i soccorsi e sul posto sono arrivati gli operatori sanitari, i vigili del fuoco e i carabinieri. Per il ragazzo non c'è stato nulla da fare.
