Auxxo's Investment Strategy
Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund, founded in 2019 by Gesa Miczaika and Bettina Schmitz, aims to provide more capital to startups led by women. Since August 2021, they've reviewed over 4,000 pitch decks, resulting in 30 investments from their first fund.
Investment Highlights
Investments range from €200,000 to €700,000 per startup, with a planned investment frequency of approximately one every two months from their second fund. Examples of funded startups include Exakt Health (Berlin-based physiotherapy app), Fides (Munich-based legal startup), and Inne (Berlin-based hormone-tracking startup).
Focus on Women-Led Businesses
Auxxo's primary focus is on supporting and investing in businesses founded and led by women, addressing the gender imbalance in startup funding.

„Es gibt ausreichend“, sagt Gesa Miczaika, Gründungspartnerin des Risikokapitalgebers Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund (Auxxo). Ausreichend Pitchdecks, die ihr Team zugeschickt bekommt. Seit August 2021, als das Team angefangen hat, Pitchdecks über eine Deal-Flow-Software zu tracken, habe Auxxo mehr als 4.000 Pitchdecks von Startups gesehen. In 30 davon hat das Auxxo-Team investiert, aus seinem ersten Fonds. Darunter die Berliner Physiotherapie-App Exakt Health, das Münchner Legal-Startup Fides und das Berliner Hormon-Tracking-Startup Inne. Seit einigen Monaten investiert das Team aus dem zweiten Fonds. Ungefähr ein Investment alle zwei Monate, zwischen 200.000 und 700.000 Euro pro Startup, so die Planung.
