A man who was arrested several times in 2021, including in Pierce County, and later convicted of drug trafficking has been sentenced to prison.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Washington announced Friday that Kermit Kellin Faglier, 59, was sentenced to 10 years after pleading guilty in October 2022 to possessing a controlled substance and possession of a firearm in connection with drug trafficking. Faglier had been arrested three separate times in Pierce, King and Snohomish counties between January and May 2021.
Faglier was first arrested in Snoqualmie in January then in Mukilteo in February. In those incidents, authorities found drugs, stolen debit and credit cards, and forged IDs in Faglier’s possession. He was arrested a third time in Spanaway after officers contacted him regarding his use of a stolen ID to purchase a stolen pickup truck. Officers found methamphetamine in his pocket and a stolen semi-automatic handgun inside the truck, the U.S. Attorney’s Office stated in its news release.
