One of the boys was charged with a number of offences including affray, enter inclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, possessing a knife in public place and participating in a criminal group and contributing criminal activity.

Both boys were granted conditional bail at Newtown police station to appear in a children’s court on May 12.
