Motorcycle Crash on Interstate 180
A two-motorcycle crash occurred on Interstate 180 west of Montoursville, Pennsylvania on Wednesday afternoon. Two of four motorcyclists riding together were involved in the accident.
Injuries and Treatment
One motorcyclist sustained injuries and was transported to UPMC Williamsport for treatment. The other motorcyclist declined medical attention at the scene. Both were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
Investigation and Traffic Impact
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the cause of the crash. The incident led to brief traffic delays in both directions on Interstate 180.
This was the scene late Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 180, just west of Montoursville, where two of four motorcyclists riding together upset in the eastbound lanes, according to Loyalsock Township fire officials. One motorcyclist was loaded into this ambulance and taken to UPMC Williamsport to get treated for his injuries. The second biker declined medical treatment, officials said. Both were wearing helmets. State police were investigating the crash. Traffic on the interstate was backed up in both directions for a brief period of time.
