Amale Dumisa Gaffga, 18, who lives at Ashler Manor, a juvenile residential care facility in Muncy Township, has been arrested on charges of allegedly threatening two other youths, who also live there, during two separate disturbances in one of the buildings; one on April 10 and another on April 11, township police Sgt. James Taylor stated in a court document.

During one of the incidents, Gaffga, of 174 Ashler Manor Drive, “punched and threw property, kicked a window and a chair as well as lunged at two staff members in a threatening manner,” the document stated.

Taylor also alleges that Gaffga provided marijuana and drug paraphernalia to juvenile female residents. She told one female juvenile, “I should beat you all the (expletive) up,” the officers alleged.

Arraigned Friday before District Judge Denise Dieter on charges of terroristic threats, corrupting the morals and disorderly conduct, Gaffga has been jailed in the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.
