Henry William Beck, 52, of 737 W. Third St., apartment 3, along with Kameco Sikes, 28, of 742 W. Third St., and Johnathan Springman, 37, who was last reported homeless, all face charges following an altercation that began as an argument, but quickly turned physical in the 300 block of West Third Street about 3:45 p.m. on Nov. 25, city police said. Surveillance video shows Sikes first running across the street and confronting Beck, police said, adding that Springman then joins Sikes. Beck allegedly pepper sprays the two men, and then Sikes is seen pushing Beck, who falls to the ground before Springman “punches him at least three times and kicks him at least once,” it was alleged in an affidavit filed at the office of District Judge Christian Frey. Beck and Springman have both been charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct while Sikes has been charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and summary harassment. Springman has also been charged with harassment. All three men are free on bail following preliminary hearings during which they were held on all charges.
