Williamsport police responded to a reported stabbing on West Fourth Street and Wayne Avenue in Newberry around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. A 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female sustained superficial injuries during a struggle over a knife a few blocks away. Both teens refused medical attention.
The injuries sustained by both teenagers were described as superficial. Despite the incident, both the male and female declined medical treatment at the scene.
The police investigation is ongoing, with further details yet to be released.
Williamsport police along with paramedics and firefighters rushed to West Fourth Street and Wayne Avenue in the city’s Newberry neighborhood for a reported stabbing about 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
