Key Claims

An Oklahoma pastor, Brandon Dale Biggs, claims to have had a vision in 2014 showing the next pope standing beside the Antichrist. He believes this vision is now significant with Pope Francis' recent passing.

The Vision

Biggs describes the next pope as slender, white, and in traditional papal attire, standing next to a darkly clothed Antichrist. He connects this vision to a later message from God about 'cleaning house' and the passing of key church figures.

Previous Prediction

Biggs gained attention for seemingly predicting the assassination attempt on Donald Trump in 2024, lending some credence to his current claims.

The Next Pope

With Pope Francis' death, the selection process for a new pope will begin. Several cardinals fit Biggs' description of the next pope, including Pietro Parolin, Peter Erdo, Robert Prevost, Pierbattista Pizzaballa, and Michael Czerny.

Theological Interpretation

Biggs' interpretation connects his vision to the biblical 'abomination of desolation', an event preceding Judgement Day. He links the vision to a time of global suffering and persecution.

Conclusion

Biggs' claims are based on personal interpretation of events and his previous predictions. His 500,000 YouTube subscribers are eagerly anticipating the papal election to see if his prophecy unfolds.

A self-proclaimed prophet who predicted the assassination attempt on Donald Trump has revealed his latest premonition.

Brandon Dale Biggs, a pastor from Oklahoma, says that in 2014, God revealed to him a vision of the next pope standing beside the Antichrist, in what he believes signals the beginning of the end times.

Biggs said with the passing of Pope Francis, who died aged 88 on Easter Monday, his vision has renewed meaning.

In the dream, Biggs says he clearly saw the man who would become the next pope, describing him as slender, white and dressed in traditional papal attire.

The pope, in all white, was standing alongside the darkly-clothed Antichrist, a Biblical figure depicted as charismatic but deceptive who rises to power before Judgement Day.

Biggs did not offer a clear interpretation of what his vision means, but he pointed to a message he claimed to receive from God at the beginning of 2025, which he believes is connected.

'The lord said he was cleaning house, that judgement would begin in the house of the Lord first,' he said. Biggs claimed God told him that people in positions of great authority in the church would pass away.

'Did I see the Pope going? No, I did not,' Biggs admitted. 'I saw key figures.'

You could be forgiven for writing off Biggs as simply superstitious, but he has been right before.

In a video posted in April 2024 - three months before the Trump assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania - Biggs seemed to predict the shooting.

'This bullet flew by his ear, and it came so close to his head that it busted his eardrum,' he said while talking about Trump.

With Pope Francis passing, the millennia-old tradition of picking a new pope will begin between 15 to 20 days after his death.

Of the 12 cardinals most likely to become the next Pope, eight of them are white: Pietro Parolin, Peter Erdo, Angelo Scola, Reinhard Marx, Marc Ouellet, Robert Prevost, Pierbattista Pizzaballa and Michael Czerny.

Several of these men could theoretically match Biggs’ physical description of the next pope, including Pietro Parolin, Peter Erdo, Robert Prevost, Pierbattista Pizzaballa and Michael Czerny.

Polymarket, a Manhattan-headquartered, cryptocurrency-based prediction market, positioned Parolin as most likely to be elected.

Briggs' vision predicts Judgement Day could soon happen. His 2014 dream has renewed significance following the pope's death on Easter. Pictured is a procession in Spain during Holy Week

It could be weeks or months until the next Pope is elected. The Vatican is currently in a mourning period, which should last until May 4.

Then, the election process will begin. The next person to take the Papacy will have to win at least 90 votes, which may take several rounds of voting.

In a recent YouTube video, Biggs recalled the dream he had in July 2014.

He claimed to be looking up at the Temple in Jerusalem, where he saw two men  standing side by side.

He interpreted one to be the next pope—and the other, the Antichrist.

Biggs' 500,000 subscribers on YouTube will be watching Pope Francis' funeral this weekend and the subsequent papal elections to see if his vision comes to pass.

Brandon Dale Biggs, an Oklahoma pastor, claims god showed him a vision of a Pope 'standing next to the Antichrist,' and he believes the pontiff he saw may be Pope Francis' successor

Many world leaders are set to attend the funeral, including President Trump, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky and Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

Biggs added that during his vision, he was standing with Jesus looking up at the Holy Temple in Jerusalem when he saws the pope standing next to the Antichrist.

There was a prophetic event known in the Bible as the 'abomination of desolation' happening in the Temple.

Referenced in the Book of Daniel, the abomination of desolation depicts a moment of blasphemy where an idol of the Antichrist is placed inside the sacred Temple.

If this prophecy comes to pass, Christians believe it will mark a period of intense global sufferings and persecution. It is considered to be a key event preceding Judgement Day.
