Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez held a press conference at 5:15 PM from the Moncloa Complex to address the nationwide power outage that took place on Monday.
Before the press conference, he visited Red Eléctrica's control center and presided over a National Security Committee meeting with government officials and military authorities.

El presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez, comparecerá a partir de las 17.15 horas desde el Complejo de la Moncloa para informar de la crisis producida por el apagón general ocurrido este lunes al mediodía.
La comparecencia tendrá lugar en el Palacio de la Moncloa y tras haber visitado por la mañana el centro de Red Eléctrica y presidir el Comité de Seguridad Nacional del que forma parte buena parte de Gobierno y autoridades militares-.
