Home Win at Wimborne Road

Their home victory at Wimborne Road saw similar success. Lawson scored 14 points, Thomsen 7, Kerr 10, Cook 6+3, Rowe 6, Starke 5, and Ritchings 6.

Future Potential

Despite these wins, team manager, Ford, believes the team hasn't reached its full potential. While acknowledging the positive momentum, he noted some individual inconsistencies and injuries hindering peak performance. He expressed confidence in further improvement, estimating the team is approximately 90% of the way to its full potential.

Poole defeated the Tigers and the Bears in back-to-back meetings, first away in Scotland before returning home to Wimborne Road.

At Glasgow, the whole team contributed to a 47-43 victory, Richard Lawson collecting paid ten, Tobias Thomsen paid nine, Lewis Kerr and Anders Rowe nine, and reserve Paul Starke paid seven.

It was a similar story back on home shale, as Lawson scored paid 14, Thomsen seven, Kerr 10, captain Zach Cook 6+3, Rowe six and reserves Starke and Ritchings paid five and paid six respectively.

But Ford feels they are still yet to completely click.

He told the Daily Echo: “Certainly things are going in the right direction. I still feel there is more to come.

“I still feel we haven't really hit our stride. Zach was a little bit off it tonight. Again, that injury to Anders kind of knocked him for six in his final couple of rides.

“So there definitely is still more to come, but I'd say we're 90 per cent of the way there now.”
