A large group of travellers arrived at Millennium Green in Lingwood, Norfolk, during the early hours of Sunday morning. Police were notified around 11:30 am and are currently engaging with the travellers.
While villagers report the travellers indicated a short stay, they remain at the location three days later. The exact duration of their stay remains uncertain.
Several police cars were observed at the common, and the travellers are still present as of the time of reporting.
The large group arrived at the Millennium Green, off Post Office Road in Lingwood, during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police received reports of the encampment at 11.30am before attending the scene, with a spokeswoman adding that officers are "engaged with the individuals on site".

Villagers say the travellers have confirmed their stay will be a "short one", but three days on from their arrival, it remains unclear when they will leave.
Several police cars were spotted at the common this morning, but as of this afternoon, the travellers remain in the village.
