An artwork by artist AleXsandro Palombo featuring Silvio Berlusconi has appeared at Malpensa Airport. The mural, titled 'Welcome to Silvio Berlusconi Airport,' depicts the former Italian Prime Minister astride an Alitalia airplane.
Palombo stated that the image represents Berlusconi's leadership and determination in both business and politics, likening his actions to steering a giant.
The airport's controversial renaming following Berlusconi's death two years ago is currently subject to a legal appeal.

Il murale si intitola 'Welcome to Silvio Berlusconi Airport' e raffigura l'ex leader di Forza Italia come se fosse a cavallo della fusoliera di un aereo Alitalia in volo, mentre con la mano sinistra accenna il suo tipico saluto. "Il Cavaliere - ha spiegato Palombo - incarna la capacità di guidare e dominare un gigante, così come ha condotto con determinazione la sua lunga carriera tra business e politica".
