A Wirerope Works Inc. employee suffered injuries to their right hand and arm after becoming entangled in a piece of machinery at the company's Maynard Street facility in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 9 a.m. on Monday.
City firefighters responded to the scene and worked for approximately 30 minutes to free the employee's arm from the machinery.
The injured employee, whose name was not publicly released, was transported by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport for medical treatment.
