Members of the police, fire service and ambulance were called to Church Street just after 2.30pm today.Â
A suspected chemical leak from a block of flats caused the incident, with the fire service leading the investigation.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service confirmed that six people were assessed at the scene but did not require transportation to hospital.

There were no services running towards Norwich from Church Street, Norwich Road, Suffield Park, Crossdale Street or Northrepps.

Buses from Cromer (X40, X41, 44A, X44) towards North Walsham departed from Cadogan Road as normal, then followed a long diversion to Cromer Hospital.
No services (Coasthopper CH2) were running towards North Walsham from Church Street or Overstrand Road.
The road has now reopened and emergency services are preparing to leave the scene.Â
