A Roselle man faces child pornography charges after police said pornographic images were found on his company-issued laptop computer.

Wojciech Florczykowski, 39, was fired from his job at DLS Electronic Systems Inc. in Wheeling nearly three years ago, according to Wheeling police reports. At that time, Florczykowski's supervisor found folders on his laptop labeled "anarchy," police said. Inside those folders were documents on how to make bombs and explosives, according to police reports. The supervisor contacted Wheeling police who received permission from the company owner to look through the defendant's laptop.

While examining the laptop, Sgt. John Connolly also noticed what appeared to be child pornography, police reports show. He contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigations, whose officers began an investigation, according to police.

Federal investigators seized several computers and media storage devices from the defendant's home, authorities said. They recovered 92 images from Florczykowski's personal laptops and 330 images from his work-issued laptop, according to police reports.

In May 2012, federal agents contacted Wheeling police. After reviewing the case, they found that it "fell short of the federal district attorney's threshold limit for prosecution" and returned it to Wheeling police pending state charges, reports show.

Wheeling police arrested Florczykowski July 7 on charges of child pornography. His bond was set at $10,000. Attempts to contact Florczykowski were unsuccessful.

If convicted, he faces up to seven years in prison. Probation is also available.

Florczykowski next appears in court on July 29.
