Specific investigations are also underway regarding the expenses incurred during Bolsonaro's motorcades and his trip to Orlando, Florida, shortly before Lula's inauguration.

Increased Spending During the 2022 Election

The audit also noted a substantial increase in spending during August–October 2022, Bolsonaro's reelection campaign period. The number of people in Bolsonaro's support team and security detail peaked in September and October (1752 and 1849, respectively), and expenses on food, lodging, and asset rental increased by approximately 45% in the Secretariat of Administration of the Presidency of the Republic compared to the previous year. The PL party reimbursed 6.7 million reais for official transport during Bolsonaro's campaign.
