Key Findings

A GAD3 poll conducted for ABC between April 15th and 24th, 2025, indicates that the People's Party (PP), led by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, would retain its absolute majority in the Madrid regional elections. The PP is projected to win 70 out of 135 seats, maintaining the same electoral strength from 2023.

Left-Wing Decline

The poll shows a decline for the left-wing parties. The PSOE, under its new leader Óscar López, has overtaken Más Madrid to become the largest opposition party, gaining support from the latter's decline. However, the combined vote share of the PSOE and Más Madrid is down compared to two years ago.

  • PSOE is projected to gain seats, rising from 27 to 33.
  • Más Madrid is predicted to lose considerable ground, dropping from 27 to 18 seats.

Podemos, which failed to secure seats in 2023, is projected to win 4.8% of the vote, nearing the electoral threshold for parliamentary representation.

Other Parties

Vox, despite its frontal opposition to Ayuso, is projected to gain seats, rising from 11 to 14, indicating a slight increase in their vote share.

Methodology

The poll surveyed 1013 people in the Community of Madrid, with a margin of error of +/- 3.1%.
