Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad launched Amruth Swasth Bharath, an AI-based non-invasive blood testing tool developed by Quick Vitals. The tool uses Remote Photoplethysmography (PPG) via camera-enabled devices to provide rapid health assessments in under a minute.
Utilizing advanced AI and deep learning algorithms, the technology assesses multiple health parameters including blood pressure, SpO2, heart rate, Haemoglobin A1c, heart rate variability, stress levels and autonomic nervous system activity. It offers both contactless assessments through smartphone and tablet cameras and supports longer monitoring using contact-based PPG sensors.
The tool aims to revolutionize health diagnostics, particularly for children and pregnant women, by providing quick, painless, and accessible testing. Its implementation marks a significant step toward digital transformation in public hospitals and reduces reliance on conventional lab infrastructure. The hospital superintendent highlighted its potential to provide immediate screening in both rural and urban settings.
