Protesters caused damage to Enterprise House in Dundee, Scotland. The incident involved red paint being thrown, windows being smashed, and messages related to weapons funding and genocide being sprayed on the building.
While the perpetrators remain unidentified, the messages suggest a protest against funding for arms sales to Israel. Although currently occupied by Social Security Scotland, the building was previously occupied by Scottish Enterprise, an organization previously linked to funding such arms firms. This suggests a possible connection between the vandalism and past actions of Scottish Enterprise.
The damage included multiple smashed windows and extensive red paint covering the building's entrance. Social Security Scotland employees were asked to work remotely to ensure safety, while Police Scotland is investigating the incident.
This incident follows similar protests against entities linked to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in recent months, including at Aviva offices in Perth.
Police Scotland are investigating the incident, which occurred around 6.20 am on Monday. Inquiries are currently ongoing.
