Grand Junction City Council Election Results

Unofficial results from the Grand Junction municipal election show victories for Cody Kennedy (District A), Ben Van Dyke (at-large), and Robert Ballard (District E).

District A

Incumbent Cody Kennedy secured a lead over Alexis Hitzeroth, receiving 8,947 votes compared to Hitzeroth's 6,020 votes (as of 7 p.m. Tuesday).

District E

Robert Ballard won against Randall Reitz, with 8,044 votes to Reitz's 6,727 votes. This win is significant as Mayor Abe Herman, the current District E representative, did not seek re-election.

At-Large Seat

Ben Van Dyke defeated Ken Scissors for the at-large seat, garnering 7,240 votes versus Scissors' 6,261 votes. Laura Houston, who withdrew from the race earlier, still received 1,374 votes.

District D

Laurel Cole ran unopposed in District D and secured 11,222 votes. Incumbent Dennis Simpson did not run for re-election.
