A recent poll conducted by Het Laatste Nieuws, VTM NIEUWS, RTL, and Le Soir indicates that if Belgian elections were held today, Vlaams Belang (VB) would be the leading party with 25.7% of voting intentions, surpassing the N-VA (25.5%). Open VLD is struggling, with only 6% support.
In Wallonia, the Parti Socialiste (PS) leads with 25.8%, followed by the Mouvement Réformateur (MR) and Les Engagés. The Parti du Travail belge (PTB) showed significant growth.
Bart De Wever (N-VA) remains the most popular politician in Flanders, followed by Tom Van Grieken (VB) and Conner Rousseau (Vooruit). In Wallonia and Brussels, Sophie Wilmès (MR) is the most favored.
The Ipsos poll, conducted online from March 4-11, surveyed 2,600 Belgians aged 18 and over (1,000 Flemings, 1,000 Walloons, 600 Brussels residents).
